How does an order qualify for free shipping?
Orders of $50 USD or more to the continental United States qualify for free shipping. Orders of $50 USD or more to Alaska, Hawaii, or other US Territories qualify for a $9.99 USD flat rate shipping.
(Please note: On extremely rare occasions an additional postage cost may apply to an exceptionally heavy or bulky order. If this is the case, a member of our Customer Service team will be in touch with you before we ship the order.)
Do you offer expedited shipping?
Yes we do! All expedited services are quoted at time of check out and charged to your purchase. (You can select the service you prefer!)
What are your processing / turnaround times?
We are a small business with operating hours of Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm EST. We will always try to ship your order as quickly as possible. In many cases, this will be same day. However at times, it might take up to 2 business days before we are able to ship your order.
What's your return policy?
We are sorry you are not happy with your order! If there's a problem with your merchandise, we will send you a return label at no cost to you and issue a full refund upon receipt.
If you've had a change of heart and just don't want the item you've ordered, we will accept a return of new, unopened merchandise within 10 business days of delivery and will provide you with a full refund minus our total shipping costs.
Out of stock items - what gives?
For now, we are not allowing pre-orders or holding backorders for items which are not currently on hand in our warehouse. If something is out of stock we will remove it from your order and ship the rest.
Why am I getting emails from a local yarn shop?
Don't be alarmed! :) If you chose to support a local yarn shop with your purchase, we are not only issuing a credit to that shop for your purchase - but we're also sharing your order summary with them, so they can thank you for your business and offer their personalized service to you.
Why don't you ship outside the USA?
Customs and regulations are complicated, and we don't want to offer anyone anything less than a smooth and easy experience. So for the moment, we are only offering this program to consumers in the USA. We are still exploring our options for an international ShopLocal program in the future to serve consumers outside of the USA.
If you are outside of the USA and are interested in our products, contact your local yarn shop in your home county, and they can order these kits for you via our standard wholesale channels! : )
